Carpentry Plus You re-did our staircases. The finished product is beyond our wildest dreams. They are unique and gorgeous. This company is not only having outstanding carpenters, but are artists. It is so nice to work with people who truly takes pride in their work. Our home was well taken care of during the construction as if it was their own house -- at the end of every day the house was spotless. Everything was done precisely and you can tell from the finished product that there weren't any short cuts. We had an ugly fireplace surround that needed replacing. We provided Carpentry+You with a picture of a fireplace mantel and asked to recreate it in an effort to give our tiny (gas/wood burning) fireplace a make over so that it went from an embarrassment to show piece. The mantel we wanted was very elaborate and not something that could be bought off the shelf. He came out and measured and provided us an estimate while also providing recommendations for the hearth. Our mantel is a work of art. The material is the highest quality, the detail is impeccable (difficult to describe) but spot on. Thomas is passionate about finish carpentry and it shows.

Carpentry+You, installed crown molding and wainscoting in my dining room. The whole project went great. Carpentry Plus You has true committed craftsman. I was referred by a friend and I am so glad. Their attention to detail on both the molding and wainscoting were incredible. Throughout the process, several suggestions to the design were offered and that really made all the difference in the outcome. The project was completed in 2 days. Thomas was neat and very thorough in his clean up when he left. Most of my house does NOT have crown molding but after this experience I am now hooked and will definitely have them come back again as I work on the rest of my rooms. Even my painter commented on the work and attention to detail when he came to paint.

The materials that were used are great and very high quality. It took only a few days to install the new trim work and the time was taken, to make everything perfect and to sand each miter. Thomas was always on time and did a great job keeping dust confined and cleaning up every day. The room now looks beautiful! It has really added much character to the room and gives it a more elegant feel. I will be using Thomas for my next project!

Thomas made several recommendations on how we'd what i thought was an "OK" entryway and create a luxurious entrance to our home. Carpentry Plus You completed a beautiful wainscoting and crown molding in our entryway and dining room. They also upgraded/installed stair balusters to a wonderful antigue bronze finish. We also have a second-phase project planned as we install built-in's in our family room and completely redesign our mudroom with build-ins and storage cubbies. The craftsmanship is second to none.
